[Kaori's been thinking a lot since her last talk with Elicia, mulling over what she said, what she was forced to share. A part of her wanted wanted to believe the little girl, that the 'bad people' wouldn't hurt her here in Luceti, but as always it was hard to push aside what she saw as justified hatred in favor of that lost affection.

So today, she wanted to try a little test, just to see how the villagers responded. After all, they were 'good people,' and wanted to be her 'friends,' right? Maybe she could gather some useful information in the meantime.]

... Your favorite part of this village... what is it? And... why? Also...

[... Did she really want to ask the next question, at the risk of revealing her inability to see and possibly being taken advantage of again for it? It would be nice to have some visuals to match up with names and presences...]

Just about everything. I didn't know very much at all before coming here.

No one's ever asked me to before. [She wouldn't know what to say, really.]

No, I think I was one of the few that were kept sheltered. [All she was taught were magic and songs.]

Magic, since all angels need to master their spells...but since I have no memories of Heaven, I can't say exactly what else. I just remember knowing the basics of everything before I came here. [Well, Kohaku is the special snowflake of angels.]

Does magic affect someone's appearance where you're from?

[Sadly, she can get those memories back, but she's been to afraid to.]

...Sort of. Angels have less power at night, so they become small. Once they master all their magic though, they're powerful enough to stay big all the time.

Uh-huh. It's called a cherubim form. I get no taller than a foot and a half, and people often mistake me as a child. [And she actually sounds pretty okay with it. Without Koryuu here, changing forms has not been a problem.]
