[Kaori's been thinking a lot since her last talk with Elicia, mulling over what she said, what she was forced to share. A part of her wanted wanted to believe the little girl, that the 'bad people' wouldn't hurt her here in Luceti, but as always it was hard to push aside what she saw as justified hatred in favor of that lost affection.

So today, she wanted to try a little test, just to see how the villagers responded. After all, they were 'good people,' and wanted to be her 'friends,' right? Maybe she could gather some useful information in the meantime.]

[Oh Knives, she can't help smiling; you didn't spend a lot of time living among Humans, did you?] They may seem like pointless questions, but it's a good mean of collecting information on the psyche of each person, they unknowingly give more information by sharing what they value, how their mind works, how confident they are overall.

Get them to talk long enough, and they'll reveal information on the rest of the village.

I'm still gathering information from the ones who have answered my questions, but it seems that one of them is very familiar with Vash. Also, there seems to be someone by the name of Vanitas who is causing trouble among the villagers... I haven't found out much about him yet, but I'm willing to look into it.

I've also heard of a standard filter against those who the majority of the villagers see as a threat, but I am able to hear the posts just fine since there is no reason for me to be on that list that they know of.

I don't think Vash himself has used it recently, but the topic has been brought up recently among the other villagers, talk of keeping it up to date. I know for a fact that Vash sometimes uses filters.
