[With a frustrated sigh, Kaori abandons the poor attempt at communication by scratching the surface of the pen across the whole page, eventually ripping it out. It was stupid to think that just because she was able to write perfectly fine a week ago, she would be able to for a while now that she was back to normal. Things didn't work that way.

So much for trying to be anonymous about this and avoiding talking to people more than she has to, but she still wanted answers to her question anyway. Pausing for a deep breath, she dives right in.]

Is anyone out there lucky enough to have their brother or sister here?

Watching them be robbed of their free will and seeing them be forced to act like idiots [or, in Gilbert's case, bigger idiots] is no better.

So what if it doesn't happen all the time? I wouldn't want to see my brothers go through anything I have even once.

There's nothing you can do about the things that happen here, no matter how powerful you are. If someone tried to kidnap my brothers back home, those assholes would be dead.

Hell no. [Even knowing what he knew, he'd always try. Always. He's too darn stubborn not to.] But if I can't stop them from being kidnapped and experimented on, I don't want them here. You're right, whatever happens when they return might not be so bad, but what if it is? These things wouldn't happen normally.

[And maybe that's his biggest problem with it. Their presence here is imply unnatural.]

[...oh. Maybe that's why what happens here doesn't bother her so much.]

No. It still happens, but it's not common. [...] I only learned recently that it happened at all.

I won't say they're okay just because they're not so bad sometimes. It only takes one stupid experiment to hurt someone important to you and forget all about it!

[...not that he would know anything about that or anything.]

Of course! Because my pain should be my burden and no one else's. They would feel the same helpless feeling you do when you want to help someone but can't.

How do you know they aren't what? That they aren't suffering, too? That's why it's better that they don't know at all. And if they weren't here, they wouldn't know.

When did I say that? There's a difference between suffering in ways that can or cannot be helped. You shouldn't always keep things to yourself, that's just stupid.
