✿ Eleventh Bud [Action/Voice late morning]

[Things hadn't been easy the past few weeks; there had been ups and downs, much more of the latter than she would ever admit to. And as far as she could tell, it would not get better any time soon. At the very least, the weather was beginning to change even if she couldn't see it for herself. There was just something about the air of spring approaching that always managed to lift her spirits a little, and what better way to greet it than to start working on that neglected garden outside of House 11? Who cares how cold it is out, the plants are of higher priority.

It isn't until after an hour or so of working that her journal falls off her person and sprawls open in the dirt, making her frown upon hearing the familiar noise of it being activated. Taking to people probably wasn't a good idea right now, but she can try.]

… What are your favorite things about spring? Or… things you like the least about it I guess. Anything really.

[Later in the evening the residents of the large household might notice that she's managed to make her way to Silver's room instead of her own, though if anyone drops by the reason should be pretty obvious. You don't go through weeks of emotional whiplash and a day out in the cold dressed improperly without coming out unscathed.]

[Lym waves to the other girl a bit, sitting on the porch herself wrapped up in several blankets with a blank look on her face.]

[Unfortunately for both of them, Kaori isn't aware of Lym waving toward her... So it might seem like she's ignoring her.]

HEY! Is everything okay?

[Lym sort of hops up in that way someone wrapped in a great number of blankets doesn't do well and flails]

[WHOA why is someone yelling at her – ?! ... Oh. It's just Lym.]

What do you mean?

[chibifalenas]

I don't know, you just seemed to be in another world or something. Was it more interesting than here?

[seiriald]

Did I? Maybe it was more interesting. [Because this world and the people in it are just too confusing to deal with.]

[chibifalenas]

I don't know, kind of distant at least.

Huh... was there something you wanted to say to me then?

[chibifalenas]

Um... Hi?

[seiriald]

... Hi...? [What does one do with Frey's little sister even.]

[chibifalenas]

[She just sits there in awkward silence for a moment after that, Lym isn't used to people who don't want to talk so she's just trying to figure the other girl out.]

Do you do the gardening here?

Usually, I don't think anyone else tries to do it. [Though this would be the first time she did it for a house since arriving in the enclosure.]

Is it difficult to do?

Not really, not if the flowers like you.

[chibifalenas]

Oh. I don't think I've ever fought a plant before. I saw brother fight a creeper once, but I'm not sure that counts.

... A creeper? Like an ivy of sorts? [How pathetic do you have to be to fight off an otherwise harmless plant...]

Its a big green pitcher like plant that will eat people if not killed off pretty quickly.

[... Wow, that reminds her of a certain type of kinsmen back home, though they didn't look like pitcher plants...] Why would he be fighting them in the first place?

So they don't kill peasants?

[seiriald]

... 'Peasants,' hm? [Don't mind that she's turning back around back to the dirt, picking up some shears and stabbing them into the ground Lym, she just really doesn't like that word. Or hearing it from you, but at least she's trying to control her rage.]

[chibifalenas]

Yes. The people who may not be trained to fight but actually keep the kingdom working. They're really the most important people in the nation.

[She sighs and looks down, not really understanding the rage or anything]

You think so? Why do you say that? [Hearing that helps to ease the anger a little, but that word had always had negative connotations in the world she had been born in.]

[chibifalenas]

As the Queen my job is to do what I can to make them have as safe and happy a life as possible. Yes, the laws come from the Queen, but the goal of the laws is so they can be as safe and happy as possible. Really, they make the food, the buildings, are the people in the army. They are the ones who make the kingdom alive. I just sit in a fancy chair and work my hardest for them.

But is it okay to call them by such a disgusting term, Lymsleia? If they're people you respect, why call them that? There has to be a better word for those people.

Um... That's what they call themselves back home. They're all my people really, but I've never considered that. Is the term really that bad?
