✿ Eleventh Bud [Action/Voice late morning]

[Things hadn't been easy the past few weeks; there had been ups and downs, much more of the latter than she would ever admit to. And as far as she could tell, it would not get better any time soon. At the very least, the weather was beginning to change even if she couldn't see it for herself. There was just something about the air of spring approaching that always managed to lift her spirits a little, and what better way to greet it than to start working on that neglected garden outside of House 11? Who cares how cold it is out, the plants are of higher priority.

It isn't until after an hour or so of working that her journal falls off her person and sprawls open in the dirt, making her frown upon hearing the familiar noise of it being activated. Taking to people probably wasn't a good idea right now, but she can try.]

… What are your favorite things about spring? Or… things you like the least about it I guess. Anything really.

[Later in the evening the residents of the large household might notice that she's managed to make her way to Silver's room instead of her own, though if anyone drops by the reason should be pretty obvious. You don't go through weeks of emotional whiplash and a day out in the cold dressed improperly without coming out unscathed.]

[Does the shallow breathing and uncomfortable expression on her face offer any clues, Silver? Oh hey when did you enter the room?]

Are you sick? [What is she even sick with? Will she be okay? Would it be okay to check her out? His tone is the same as usual, but he's definitely concerned. A little security comes from the fact that she can't see his expression or anything else that would be an indication that he's pretty wound up and worried.]

... Maybe? [The fact that she was partially admitting to it spoke of just how terrible it felt to be in this body right now, but at least it's not something contagious!]

[tsuntrader]

How do you feel? [...] Do you mind if I check for a fever? [Should he ask someone else for help? Maybe....]

[seiriald]

A fever? [Yes, feeling uncomfortably hot usually means fever, doesn't it? Okay, gotta nod to let Silver know he's okay to do that... even if it would be a little weird, but she's not exactly thinking about that right now either.]

[tsuntrader]

[In that case, he'll yank a glove off and carefully feel her forehead for a fever. She looks uncomfortable and she's definitely out of it enough for it...]

[You can especially tell how out of it she is when she nearly shoots upright, because hi someone is touching her. Oh, but that someone is Silver, right...? That should be okay...]

Easy, easy. [That's definitely a fever. What can he do? How'd she even get this sick? Wasn't she working on the plants in the garden today?

-Well, more importantly--] Sneasel's gonna put a paw on your forehead, alright? It can serve as an ice pack. He's climbing onto the bed right now. [Sneasel is indeed doing so and making his way over to Kaori.]

[The illness had been a long time coming, and if she were more coherent she would be wondering just why it didn't happen sooner. But right now Sneasel is coming up to her and if she remembered right, he looked very cuddly... The chance to cuddle with Sneasel and just how nice his paw felt on her forehead are both very wonderful things, so there are no complaints from her at all.]

Sorry... I'll move...? [Because it's pretty obvious this isn't her room now.]

[tsuntrader]

[Shaking his head.] It's fine. Just try to get some rest.

[seiriald]

Mm'kay... [She's a little too out of it to argue and be insistent otherwise. At least he wasn't fussing too much, or she might find herself rebelling against him.]

But what about you?

[tsuntrader]

I'll take the couch. It's no big deal.

[seiriald]

Yes it is, the couch isn't comfortable so it's a stupid idea! [... Yes, she is whining a little.]

[tsuntrader]

The couch is-

[Really comfortable. But now's not the time to argue about it.] I'll head into one of the spare bedrooms.

[seiriald]

... You can try my bed? If Freyjadour gets stupid you can kick him. [Because that is clearly the best option.]

[tsuntrader]

[...] Sure. [Yeah that's not happening but what Kaori doesn't know won't hurt her.]

[Or perhaps she will find out when she asks Frey about it the next day, but for now she's a little too focused on Sneasel's paw.]

But what about your friends?

[tsuntrader]

Huh? [That's a really vague question there, Kaori. What about his friends?]

[seiriald]

Where will they sleep if I'm here? [Sneasel, Murkrow and Feraligatr aren't going to have to sleep on the floor or something, will they?]

[tsuntrader]

[...] Feraligatr's too big for a bed and Murkrow usually sleeps while sitting up. ...Sneasel sleeps with me.

[seiriald]

... So Sneasel should go with you now then. [Because no one should have to go the night without having someone or something to cuddle with.]

[tsuntrader]

[...Looking at Sneasel. What do you think, Sneasel? ...Well, if you say so...]

He wants to stay with you. [Because he's a mom and is fussing and will continue to fuss. Silver knows his fuzzy bromom very well.]

... You mean it? [Why are you two so nice and such bros, is this repayment for not being a fussing and hovering thing when Silver was sick?]

Why wouldn't I? [Sure, let's go with that. It's definitely not because they're just nice or bros or whatever, and that sounds good.]

Because sometimes people are jerks for no reason other than they can be. [She doesn't even have to think about stopping herself from using the general term of 'Humans,' it's becoming easier to keep herself from generalizing these days.]
