[It's been several days since the incident that confined her to the clinic, and frankly Kaori has become very tired of that place. Not only was she bored out of her mind, but merely the smell of it brought up fragmented memories of pain and fear from long ago. On top of that, it was lonely when no one visited. Sorry Vash, but she really can't take it anymore.

Therefore it makes sense that she sneak out, right?! Never mind that she is still badly bruised and sore everywhere due to damaged and sprained muscles, which makes walking very difficult. But what's some injuries to her? At the very least she can talk! Sort of... It takes some effort.

As for the destination she has in mind? Her apartment at the very top of CH4, pretty smart. Of course she probably won't get very far, and may end up resting in the flower shop instead. Feel free to intercept her anywhere along this stupid journey of sheer determination, she may or may not bite. And it may or may not take all day.]

[Right, so this kid might still be treating everything like it'll bite him a minute now, but Kaori doesn't look like someone who should be up and about and he's debating whether he should...go...talk to her. Wh-what is approaching people.]

[Kaori's kind of approachable at the moment? The kid is getting a break, because a) he was a new presence in the village, and she was always curious about those, and b) for someone who felt human, he seemed... off. Cue even more curiosity.

So she's sending a smile in the direction she feels him, trying to seem last hostile. Don't be paranoid, she can almost taste it from here.]

[He's relaxing at least, though still cautious. Talking to her doesn't seem nearly as frightening to the kid at the moment.]

[Shrugging, she probably shouldn't but the last thong she wanted to do was spend another night at that place. Her nightmares were bad enough when she was in her own room.]

Escaping. [Brutally honest as usual. She's not grumpy with you, Shirou, just at the fact that already this was starting to hurt pretty badly. Poor guy might have to deal with her ranting about it.]

How about "see her as she's walking out of the clinic?" See, Masaomi was going here to see if he could stock up on some bandages or something (this place is redundant what with that med center anyway, so might as well put its supplies to use) during a time when he isn't lurking over Mikado and then... there she is.

It's worth nothing he's less angry than before! He's only at his usual, marginal level of self-loathing. But right now he's jut curious]

[Hooray for being less angry! This makes Kaori significantly happier when she feels him, sending a smile his way. How long is this going to last if he realizes what happened, though? Already she's kind of failing with trying to stay hidden, if her right arm being in a sling wasn't a dead giveaway.]

[Oh yeah. His eyes narrow at that and a bit of rage creeps up. But he... keeps it cool, striding on closer to her. She knows who he is even if she is blind because she can see how he feels, right? She's been able to sense it so far]

[The increase in rage makes her a little nervous, but she can sense him coming closer. Please don't get too mad...]

[She'd kiiiind of forgotten that, considering she stopped here to rest. Besides, flowers=sanctuary! It's pretty obvious from the guilty look on her face that she's not feeling better now, this trek probably made a few things worse. But you're not making her go back there. >:T ]

[Vash lets out a small sigh. He really can't be too mad, he doesn't like clinics either. He's always checking out early himself.] You know, you won't get better any faster if you're out running around getting sick and hurting your injuries again.

[Have some more pouting, she wasn't running around! Besides, this girl has no sense of self-preservation.]

[Hm, you did escape the clinic, maybe you're better enough you could leave. But...] Well, why don't you stay here for now. [So he can WATCH you and see how you're doing.] Then we can get lunch together later.

[Mithos would hold no objections to holing himself up in house 52 and shunning the outside world and its people (especially its people) for as long as deemed fit (a very, very long time), but unfortunately food is a necessity. So here he is, on his way back from the grocery store...

...When he notices a certain girl in the road ahead. He stops short, his footsteps crunching to a halt in the snow.]

[In the weeks since they spoke he has tried to push her from his mind, but naturally this has the exact opposite effect as intended. And despite that, Mithos still can't decide what to think of her. He feels drawn to her, but he wants to push her away like everyone else; he can't trust anyone but himself, but a part of him wants to trust her. Of course he hadn't planned on encountering her anytime soon. Or ever. Running away is the easiest and most effective method of self-preservation.

What Mithos doesn't realize is that she's blind. He thinks that she must have seen him - the distance between them isn't that much - so he debates the course of action he should take.]

[It's difficult to not notice the bundle of extreme emotions that is Mithos, but unfortunately Kaori can't really recognize him, beyond the feeling that they've spoken before. She stops and debates trying to talk to him, since she can't know for sure that it's him until he confirms it by speaking. Only then will she recognize his voice.

In short, it's your move, Mithos. There's no way for her to know it's you for sure.]

[He wonders why she hasn't spoken, and is tempted to just walk away - there's ample opportunity. But.....he somehow feels compelled to say something. That's how she is; she just stirs a dormant curiosity in him and it rises against his better judgment. Now, any normal person would have said something along the lines of "Hello", or "How are you?" by now, but Mithos is far from normal and thus at a loss for what to say.]

...Kaori. [He speaks as though still deciding whether or not to say anything at all, even if words are already coming out.]

[Her eyes widen visibly, now able to properly face him while her protective nature rises. She'd been worried about him, but just as unsure over whether or not she could trust him. Now she was... happy, was that it?]

Mithos...? [She wants to come closer, but refrains for now.]
