H-hey, don't go falling! [Hello, Luceti, it seems that one of the journals out there has decided to turn on the video feature to show you one lovely ceiling, with rather creepy shallow breathing heard in the background. Before long a frazzled Kaori pops into the picture from the edge of what must be a bed, clearly still half-asleep since her eyes are closed, but... There's a distinct redness to her normally pale complexion, if you catch sight of her reaching around for the fallen book while her cracked voice mutters the occasional word.

... Actually, she's reaching out a little too far from the bed...

Damn it, where did you – Agh?! [And down she goes toppling in a tangled mess of blankets to the floor, because depth perception sucks when you're feeling so damn sick, right? Someone save her from the blanket monster!] Ow!

Not enough. [She can tell because that urge to grab one of the knives on her bedside and ran it into herself is still very strong, though not as overwhelming as before.]

W-what? Well.... [Think think think......] L-let me try to think, ok?

... 'kay. [You do that, Frey. In the meantime she's pulling out that journal of hers again and propping it open, clearing her throat briefly before screaming into it:] Masaomi!! I need you!

[Followed by the expected coughing spree because she's a derp like that and never learns.]

[The call function gets him first, actually. Masaomi hasn't been journaling as much as he could, instead he's been reading ~~Twilight~~ something in his spare time. But then the journal rings, he opens it and... then Kaori's scream comes in.

He makes his own surprised noise as his response]

Kaori-chan?!

K-Kaori?! [A shocked look as he pales considerably. Why's she calling Kida?! H-he doesn't need to know this!]

[Please stand by or get some damn water before she chokes on herself!]

[...]

Oh, and Frey's there too?

Ah... yes. [patting Kaori on the back.] Do you need something to drink?

[She's curling into herself from how strong the coughing is getting, Frey. What do you think?]

[ The door probably wasn't very noticeable over Kaori's coughing fit, but it seems Spada's arrived back at the apartment in the nick of time! He even brought her a glass of water, swinging open the door to her room like he owns the place. ]

Hey, Kaori, you —

[ And then stopping in his tracks because what is he looking at even um. ]

The hell's going on in here?

[You know mysterious voice I do not know the origin of, this is a good question. Kaori, you should really move the camera so he can see better because as is Masaomi's just sort of looking at the book with some sideeyes trying to figure out what's going on up in hyar]

[Frey's wondering the same thing, actually. ....Who are you? He continues to pat her back soothingly, blinking at the abrupt entrance.]

Hello?

[It's a Spada! A Spada always makes Kaori happy, so she's trying to calm down the coughing because it would be no good to worry a Spada.

Sorry boys, you are temporarily being ignored for Spada.]

[ Which reminds him that first and foremost he arrived to deliver water, so he approaches Kaori. Slightly cautiously.

And eying Frey in the most suspicious way possible for the most part before arriving at the bedside and awkwardly offering the glass to Kaori — can she even hold a glass? Regardless, he comes up with one conclusion! ]

Didn't know Kaori had a boyfriend.

[Aaaaand then comes the voice from the journal beside the pair]

OOOOH?! You took the next step, Frey?!

[Complete with excited tones, the blonde here laughs. Fat chance, but if he did good for him because that's a good catch]

W-what?! What are you talking about?! [Blushing scarlet and flailing a bit.] I-I'm her friend not.... [S-sob.]

[WATER THANK GOD and it feels so cold compared to her current temperature, too. Once she's chugged that thing down and remembers that there are, in fact, two other boys who should be addressed in this room, she gets to work introducing them, her voice rather hoarse and cracked still.]

This is Masaomi. [Holding up the journal. Upside down.]

[ He at least gets a laugh out of Frey's flailing, but he's not convinced at all. As for the journal ... ]

I think you've — [ Right, blindness. Reaching over to fix that for her, grabbing a corner of the journal and tilting it more right-side up so she gets the memo. Hopefully. ]

So the boyfriend's Frey, and this guy's Masaomi. Got it. [ ... And not sure which one to look at while he introduces himself, so instead he looks at neither, closing his eyes and tugging his hat down with a smile. ]

Spada Belforma. I'm her roommate.

[...Roommate. Masaomi, from the other end of the journal, frowns a little. He didn't know she had one of those and he now can't help but be suspicious. Of Spada and his intentions, of why he didn't intervene that time, of Kaori for never mentioning him to him... a few other things. But all the same, this does explain how she can live up there. For a moment though, he just keeps this blase as expression]

Nice to meet you, Spada-kun.

[He says this simply, relaxing his face on the other end to a more guarded but neutral position. He also shifts because it seems this conversation will be longer than he expected]

You are mistaken, Spada. We're friends, not..... [Blushing. Ok, maybe he's not as over valentine's as he thought.] ...In a relationship.

[He's also a little concerned about why Kaori is living with a man. It makes no sense to him.] But it is a pleasure to meet another friend of Kaori's.

[... What is this tension, she will not have it around Spada. Once she turns the journal around properly with an embarrassed blush she'll speak again, her voice still strained from the coughing fit.]

Yeah, Spada and I have been living together almost as long as I've been here. He's helped a lot since then. [Meet yet another one of the knights she's gathered here.]

[ He's still not buying Frey's protests at all, man. ]

So there's another reason you're cuddlin' up with her on her bed? [ This is him indirectly still trying to figure out what exactly is going on here. ]

[Cuddling in her bed... and they called him. They couldn't possibly-? It's possible, isn't it, but why involve him? And Kaori said she needed him so. He brain works into overdrive, considering the possibilities here but coming up with nil. For now, without no good avenue to get Spada here (which is something unexpected) out of the picture, Masaomi just falls silent on the other end for now, folding his hands under his chin as he looks down at his own journal.]
